Cost & Contract Manager

Key Tasks:
The key tasks for this role shall be, but not limited to the following:

  • The Manager will be pivotal to providing general support to the overall project management group for the preparations and tracking of project reports, tenders, administration, financial progress
  • Assist to ensure that reporting is accurate and timely as provided by PM’s
  • Management of financial elements and forecasting based on Meinhardt’s financial systems database
  • Assist in verifying reports expected from our clients GSAP systems to ensure that all PM’s data is accurate and regularly updated
  • Assist with monthly reporting which typically includes; accruals, asset, close outs and other similar in nature
  • Review and evaluate tenders’ technical and commercial bid
  • Support the preparation of tender documents for development projects
  • Maintaining up to date cost data information
  • Assist the Project Management teams and to ensure all works are carried out to the highest possible standard, within the financial and time restraints
  • Implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
  • Responsibility and accountability in cost & contract including managing stakeholders, establishing Project Management Plan and ascertaining that all requirements and instructions, and project implementation are in compliance with the project scope, budget, time and quality

Key Skills, Qualifications & Education:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 Year(s) of working experience in the Project Management and consultant is required for this position
  • Preferably Manager specialized in Engineering – Oil/Gas or equivalent
