Quantity Surveyor


Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the incumbent will assist to manage all costs relating to building projects from the feasibility to final accounts stage, minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money while achieving the required standards and quality.


  1. Prepare cost plans and budget studies
  2. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings/specifications to prepare project costs
  3. Measurement of quantities for Bill of Quantities
  4. Assist with tender evaluation and reporting
  5. Prepare various contracts and nominated sub-contracts for tender
  6. Compile contract documents for execution
  7. Attend onsite and consultants’ meetings and liaise with clients, and consultants in the administration of projects
  8. Assess variation costs; prepare interim valuations for contractor’s progress claim
  9. Understand and adhere to the statutory building regulations
  10. Undertake cost analysis for variations
  11. Assist with financial reporting
  12. Valuing completed work and arrange payments
  13. Assist with contractual claims
