The first manufacturing facility in Thailand that is aimed at increasing Caterpillar’s capacity for their existing range of underground mining machinery in growth markets

Meinhardt provided consultancy services for a new Caterpillar facility with a GFA of approximately 65,000 m2 comprising the main production plant of 58,000 m2 and an office block of 7,000 m2.

The facility is located in Rayong Industrial Land and it produces heavy machines for underground mining. Meinhardt’s suite of services includes Project & Construction Management, providing schematic designs (architectural and engineering) for the Design and Build tender, tender process and full-time construction site supervision.

Throughout all stages, our consultants ensured that the project is compliant with FM Global Requirements.
