Designed as one of the iconic developments in Doha, this 200 metres high, 52-storey tower houses the headquarters for Qatar Investments & Projects Development Holding Company (QIPCO). Tornado Tower utilises an efficient yet striking structural system to house 52 floors of office space in a 200 metres tall building with 3 levels of the basement and carpark. The tower has a unique truncated cylindrical design with the largest and smallest floor plates of 55m and 40m diameter respectively.
Meinhardt provided structural engineering services for Tornado Tower on a turnkey basis with the Construction Contractor.
